Nicknamed the “Royal City”, Guelph is a city located in southwestern Ontario. It has been voted one of the best cities to live in Canada and enjoys a low crime rate. The nickname comes from the fact that this city was named for King George 1V, the King of England at the time, who was descended from the Guelph lineage.
